Alpaca Palace Houdini's Thunderbolt (Thunder Bella's sire) has soft, dense, superfine, and a bright fleece, a compact boxy square frame, and overall handsome appearance. His lineage is a combination of our Multi-champion Herdsire, Alpaca Palaces Houdini and Accoyo America Alpenglow AC020. We know through conversations with Lynn Eden that Alpenglow's Dam, Accoyo America Alpenrose, is a consistent producer of elite alpacas for Little Creek Farm. This combination offers Hemingway, Bueno, North Star, Nautilus and Vengador in his background, how could you go wrong? We don't have a crystal ball and realize there is always an element of chance, however, the first thing that we recommend is noting what the female needs for improvement. This young male created quite a stir at shearing time. Shearing came to a halt as everyone took a break to look at his fleece as it came off. With each blade stroke, it appeared as if dark butter was melting away, with the brightness so intense we had to turn out a light. The PBR Breeze certainly was blowing in the right direction. Velvet Splash (Our choice for Bella's 2025 breeding) proves that genetics don’t change with age. At age seven, he is the fineness alpaca on the ranch, with an afd of 19 microns. His pedigree couldn’t be better. Snowmass Velvet Touche on the top and Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah on the bottom. My breeding decisions for him are endless and very exciting!!!
