PBR Gun-Metal Bugatti's fleece is a unique masterpiece of art. He owes his distinctive character to a family of harlequins and appaloosas, who strive to offer extraordinary fleece qualities. Every element of PBR Gun-Metal Bugatti is incredible. He has outstanding 2019 epds (19.7 microns), a combination of reminiscence to his bloodlines with Vintage Cashmere U-Taupe-ia, Aussie Rockford, Hannahruh, Royal Fawn and Peruvian Victor on the top and Hemingway and Star Khan on the bottom. He combines platinum, lavender and grey fleece, making him a rare platinum harlequin alpaca. Add his genetics to your herd! You will be glad you did!
The results of PBR Gun-Metal Bugatti's sires, Vintage Cashmere's U-Taupe-ia, and biopsy (September 2016) are... Density: 53.6 mm; Secondary: Primary fiber ratio: 9.7:1; In-skin mean primary fiber diameter: 25.3 microns / SD 4 microns; In-skin mean secondary fiber diameter: 21.1 microns SD 3.8. He has a super long staple length (in the top 6% EPD 2016), high frequency, and medium amplitude crimp.
Our Shiloh's Sahara, Bugatti's dam, has aged beautifully with her Hemingway-style crimp and lasting fineness inherited from her multi-champion sire, Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Taqna. As one of a few special daughters of Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Taqna, Our Shiloh's Sahara has everything you'd expect....gorgeous fleece, excellent phenotype, well-balanced structure and an elite fleece exhibiting high-frequency, high-amplitude crimp. Her bloodlines include Peruvian Hemingway, Polaris, Snowmass /Cchatanca, Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Sapa, Cchacuri and much more! Her sire, Derwydd Inti-Taqna, displays a Hemingway-style crimp and fineness and maintains a 23-micron at ten. He passes on a recessive gene that has proven to be a successful indicator that a female can produce a Harlequin when bred to a Harlequin herd sire. His numbers are at the top 5% for afd, %f>30, and 10% for sf and mc. That lasting fineness in fleeces is apparent in Our Shiloh's Sahara's sixth-year fiber reporting a 20.9 micron!
