As one of a few special granddaughters of Derwydd Peruvian Haya, PBR Haya's Speck-tac-ular Bentley has everything you'd expect from an appaloosa with gorgeous fleece, excellent phenotype, well-balanced structure, and an elite-fleeced spotless blanket. Her spectacular spots fall onto her legs and face, resembling those of her dam, Kuska Haya's Tic Tac. Her most outstanding quality is that sought-after alpaca head inherited from her famous sire, Springtoo Skyfall. With Peruvian Magnifico and El Niño in her pedigree, she blends two lines highly valued for fleece density and other elite fleece characteristics. Those rare bloodlines make PBR Haya's Speck-tac-ular Bentley unique and a sure-to-be reigning champion in the appaloosa world. A 2022 breeding to PBR R Creek's Divine Bellagio did not disappoint! Presenting PBR Divine Jaguar XKE, an exquisite, full-covered face, appaloosa male (check out his page!)
Kuska Haya's Tic Tac, Bentley's dam, is the product of two top-producing harlequins from the Kuska herd. She carries legendary appaloosa/harlequin (Bentley's Ameerah/Derwydd Peruvian Haya) genetics on both sides of her pedigree, making her homozygous for the appy / harlequin trait. Her registered primary color is a medium rose grey... just because there isn't a category of "taupe"! Her blanket is spotless, and her coloration is exquisite. She has spots on her belly and face... a classical harlequin pattern expression—another stunning Harlequin Appaloosa female from Haya. Superior bloodlines include greats such as Accoyo Auzengate, Accoyo Pluro, Accoyo Camilio, Accoyo Pucara, Accoyo Royal Fawn, Peruvian Bueno, NGG Lionel and Peruvian Alpamayo.
Two great ways to validate a strong herd sire are longevity in the show ring and the ability to pass those traits to his progeny. Springtoo Skyfall, Bentley's sire, has conquered both. He has over a dozen cria on the ground with impressive results. His ability to improve the characteristics of the dam, even when bred to powerhouse females, is noteworthy. Most of his offspring inherit his gorgeous head, muscular frame, and highly evolved fleece structure. Skyfall has won three Color Championships, an RCC, two Spirit of the Industry awards, Best Hand, two Judges Choice awards, Best Crimp, Best Brightness and a handful of blues.
PBR Divine World's Bellagio (Our choice for Bentley's 2024 breeding) - Males of this caliber are exceptionally rare when such superior genetics for fleece production is packaged in an outstanding phenotype. This Snowmass Divine Love, grandson, will improve anyone's breeding program, including ours. Superior fineness, micron-adjusted uniformity (17.4 afd!), extreme brightness, bundling beyond belief and blanket extension is why he took Champion at the 2020 AOA National Show and Champion at the 2021 Paoba Fleece Show. What an incredible accomplishment before the age of two!!!!
