Cacao Chanel of PBR is a lovely chocolate brown and her personality is as sweet. She inherited that beautiful color from her g-sire Skywalker by Poseidon of FDA. She exhibits excellent phenotype and a beautiful fleece with lots of crimp and a soft hand, not surprising with g-sire Rembrandt El Nino. Take a look at Cacao Chanel of PBR's excellent pedigree. On the top is her sire, the ever-popular Vintage Cashmere U-taupe-ia gives her a 50/50 chance of carrying the Harlequin/Appaloosa gene. She proves that through her first cria, PBR Divine Embraced by the Light, a beautiful appaloosa with two white spots. So with Cacao Chanel's dense, buttery soft fleece, perfect conformation, she would be a great addition to anyone's herd.
Her Dam, Our Shiloh's Mariah, takes after her sire, Skywalker by Poseidon of FDA, with her large bone and dense, full coverage. Take a look at her ARI certificate at Top 1% for afd, sf, %f>30, Top 10% for % of crimp and top 15% for Fleece weight. She carries Caligula's El Nino genetics on both sides of her pedigree. El Nino is the son of PPeruvian Caligula, one of the most important studs in the history of the North American alpaca industry. Mike Safley stated, "Caligula died in 2003 with 203 registered offspring. His progeny won 12 sire competitions, two of those at AOBA National shows. Once he was 2nd in the get class at the Nationals, losing to his son Accoyo El Nino’s first place get. His sons and daughters have won 17 championships at the largest shows in the U.S., not counting the breeder’s best awards. Today Caligula’s offspring are working in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and England."
