Royal Oracle's fleece is perfectly described as "zipper" crimp, starting in large bundles, but maintaining the same structure when it is pulled apart into matchstick bundling. There are very few guard hairs throughout his blanket, exactly what you want to see in your breeding program.
It's no wonder that he has such great fleece. His sire, Snowmass Oracle, has maintained his fineness and uniformity up through his 7th shearing coming in at 21.6 microns, 21.5 CV, 46.3 curvature and a spin fineness of 21.1. Some of the names contributing to those numbers are Peruvian Hemingway, Peruvian Caligula, 6Peruvian Elite, Snowmass Quechua (the sire of Snowmass Matrix) and the legendary dams from Snowmass Alpacas: Snowmass Maree Love and Peruvian Jesusa.
Oracle's dam, Snowmass Royal Passion, brought her own elite pedigree to the mix with names like Peruvian Bueno, 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvian Hemingway, Snowmass Royal Rose, and Snowmass Legacy Gold. It's no wonder that Oracle is so exceptional!

Our Shiloh's Pearl is the gorgeous daughter of Derwydd Inti-Taqna, acknowledged by many as one of the best sons of Cchauri. The numbers speak for themselves with Dewydd Peruvian Inti-Taqna coming in at Top %5 for afd and %F>30 and top 10% for sf and mc! He did quite well his first season on the show circuit. He displays a Hemingway-style crimp along with his fineness and maintains a 23 micron at 10 years old. His full Peruvian lineage has some great genetics. His sire is the famous Derwydd Peruvian Inti-Sapa who has been taking many awards on the west coast and producing many champions as well. His fleece displays the tight crimp that is so distinctive of the Hemingway line, his great grandsire. His great-grandsire on his dam's side is 4Peruvian Starr Kahn. Starr Khan is a son of Shere Khan, a stud in the world-famous Accoyo herd of Don Julio Barreda. Her bloodlines are packed with the likes of Derwydd Peruvian and Peruvian Hemingway on her sire's side. On her dam's side, her lines are the impressive Peruvian Snowmass, Snowmass Gabriel, 5Peruvian Chilligua, and Pperuvian Felix.
Gardenia, has extremely white fleece, fine and high-frequency crimp. Gardenia's dam, VF Dawn, has produced award-winning offspring, no matter who she is bred to. Gardenia is sired by Snowmass Gabriel who has stamped each of his cria with fine, crispy, bright and dense fiber. Gardenia's 2007 micron count was 17.9 AFD, 3.8 SD, 21.2 CV, 0/7%>30.
