Born as a calico harlequin/appaloosa, Rare Gem Whole Latte Love, has grayed out and become a gorgeous, handsome stud. With perfect conformation and coverage from head to toe on a solid and robust frame, Rare Gem Whole Latte Love is a phenotypically flawless junior herdsire. He is the unique blending of the Aussie Rockford and Polaris lines with a dense and long staple length.

Vintage Cashmere U-Taupe-ia, Latte's sire, is a striking appaloosa harlequin male that is on a roll for throwing spotted and harlequin offspring. He now has ~30 offspring on the ground and ~80 percent are either appaloosa or harlequin! While dam selection has a significant influence on such outcomes, it should be noted that the majority of the dams Taupie has been bred to have no genetic influence on this outcome. His heritage boasts appaloosa genetics on both sides of his lineage with Aussie Rockford out of Hannahruh on his sire's side and Chiquita Import on his dam's side.

Latte's dam, Bright Water Ranch's Espresso, is a lovely Bay Black female. She is the daughter of VF Yahoo too and BMR Sienna, daughter of Polaris, a very successful male in the alpaca industry. Espresso has a beautiful bright fleece with excellent crimp, and she displays a perfect phenotype. Her bloodlines include recognizable names such as Peruvian Hemingway, Polaris, Peruvian Felix and Snowmass Snowmaster's Shiraz and she, herself, is in the top 25% for crimp.
